Mustang swimmers gathered in the Health and Wellness Center Monday afternoon to celebrate accomplishments.
The swim team has a team record board that hangs from a wall upstairs in the wellness center. Swimmers took turns hanging their names and times under each category for which they held a school record.
Senior Greg Penny said it was an honor to be on the board.
“Even though I've only been swimming two years, I worked hard,” he said. “I''m proud of it — my senior year I went out good.”
Senior Carli Wentworth, who owns six records, helped start the swim team at Mustang High School.
“Hopefully some of them (records) will stick around for a while,” she said.
